Job summary

Rackspace Technology in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology programs from initiation to closure, owning governance, budgets, risks, and delivery quality.

You will serve as trusted advisor to customer executives, manage executive steering, and identify opportunities for expanding engagements while delivering outstanding outcomes and durable partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience delivering complex technology projects and programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure, cloud, transformation, migration, managed services, and professional services projects from inception through closure.
• Establish and manage project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, reporting structures, and decision-making forums.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, RAID logs, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Ensure successful delivery against scope, cost, quality, schedule, and business outcome objectives.
• Manage project change control processes and ensure appropriate governance of scope and commercial variations.
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive project teams to deliver customer outcomes whilst maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth transition of delivered services into Business-As-Usual operations.
