Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate the entire cloud stack, drive observability improvements, and scale infrastructure as the company grows. You will shape the architecture, automate with Terraform and Docker-based stacks, and work across multi-region deployments.

You will mentor engineers, handle production incidents, and pursue cost-optimized, highly available systems. Experience at scale is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience owning large-scale cloud infrastructure in production.
• Strong skills in building observable, reliable systems across multi-region deployments.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform, and modern container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the full cloud stack end-to-end.
• Improve observability with metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerting.
• Architect and run browser automation infrastructure at scale.
• Write and maintain Terraform for all infrastructure; treat everything as code.
• Tune autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Expand to new regions as we grow and explore additional cloud providers.
• Mentor other engineers on infrastructure best practices.
• Respond to production incidents and build disaster recovery runbooks.
