Job summary

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure IAM team in Nashville seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build distributed, highly available services. You will lead software design, implement end-to-end systems, and drive secure, scalable features in production.

You should be hands-on, able to operate large cloud services, mentor others, and balance speed with quality. This role is based in Nashville TN and relocation is required for non-residents.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and operating end-to-end systems and services (required).
• Experience driving security, documentation, and UX reviews; partnering with Product Managers throughout the launch lifecycle.
• Experience developing service-oriented architectures (SOA) and RESTful web services.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with JWT, OAuth2, Okta, and other authentication frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, including concurrency concepts and thread-safety.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience with high-volume transactional systems.
• Proven production database support experience and SQL performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with at least one scripting language for automation.
