Job summary

Oracle Nashville seeks an experienced systems designer to help build scalable networked cloud services. Based in Nashville, TN, you will contribute to Virtual Networking Control Plane by designing components that scale horizontally and handle large data flows in a secure, multi-tenant environment.

You will drive reliability through fault-tolerant architectures, telemetry, and performance testing, while collaborating across teams to deliver resilient, compliant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Strong ability to define scalability requirements for components.
• Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of scalable distributed systems for cloud networking.
• Design fault-tolerant components with redundancy and failover mechanisms.
• Define KPIs and telemetry to monitor system health and performance.
• Develop automation scripts for IaC and change management.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver resilient network infrastructure.
