Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to deploy, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud services for internal stakeholders and clients, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, CSP Associate level cloud certifications, and 8–15 years IT experience with 3–4 years in cloud engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate level cloud certification in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8-15 years of IT experience with a mix of roles.
• 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience with one or more vendor platforms.
• 4+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud-based computing services at scale for clients and provisioning of new hosts.
• Formulate design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud environment.
• Management of cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
• Utilize infrastructure as code, CI/CD, architecture reviews to create/manage cloud infra.
• Develop scripts/templates for provisioning and configuration of resources.
• Translate high-level objectives into technical requirements.
• Review operational requirements with project teams for deployment and support.
• Develop documentation for best practices related to server infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Serve as liaison with clients to ensure needs are met.
• Assist in identifying/planning of new cloud services, features, capabilities.
