Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a cloud engineering professional to deploy, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure for clients and internal stakeholders. You will design scalable cloud architectures, implement infrastructure as code, manage IAM and security groups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operations and continuous service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud
• Professional level certification a plus
• 8-15 years of IT experience with a combination of:
• 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
• 4+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering roles

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud-based computing services at scale for clients and internal teams.
• Formulate network, storage, and compute design specs for stable cloud operations.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
• Use infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices to create and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and templates for provisioning and configuration of resources.
• Collaborate to translate high-level objectives into technical requirements.
• Review operational requirements with project teams for deployment and support.
• Develop documentation for best practices related to server infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Serve as liaison with clients in meetings to ensure needs are met.
• Identify and plan potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
