Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced cloud engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated CD pipelines across Linux environments, enabling DevOps by promoting code through Dev/Test, Staging, and Production.

You will lead cloud strategy, IAM, security groups, and CSP services, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing SME guidance on cloud infrastructure, backups, storage, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Professional level cloud certification(s) in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years IT experience with a mix of roles.
• 5+ years cloud engineering experience with one or more vendor platforms.
• 5+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux in admin/engineering capacity

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment configurations to meet program and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for cloud services deployment and enhancement.
• Provide oversight and consultation on cloud strategies.
• Serve as SME in cloud solutions and provide advanced engineering support.
• Design network, storage, and compute specs for secure cloud operations.
• Develop cloud service strategies: IAM, Security Groups, CSP services.
• Lead migration planning and infrastructure deployment efforts.
• Train teams on IaC, CI/CD, and architecture reviews.
• Translate high-level objectives into technical requirements.
• Validate requirements with project teams and stakeholders.
