Job summary

Harvey AI is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to own the shared IT layer that powers our cloud-first platform. You will join Core IT Engineering & Infrastructure, reporting to the Director of IT, alongside teams handling identity, networking, and device management.

Harvey is cloud-first and rapidly expanding its IT footprint. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, multi-cloud provisioning, and robust runbooks to keep systems resilient.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in corporate IT engineering or SRE, with at least 2 years owning shared infrastructure or automation for a SaaS-first company.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience. You've managed real systems with Terraform or similar, in Git, with pull-request review and CI.
• Solid scripting in Python plus one of Bash, PowerShell or Go. You write code other people can read and maintain.
• Hands-on with identity and provisioning: SAML, OIDC, SCIM and lifecycle automation in Okta or Entra.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP): IAM, accounts and cost basics.
• Comfort with DNS, TLS and certificate management, and basic enterprise networking.
• You've built monitoring and alerting that people actually trust, and written runbooks that someone else used successfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud accounts and tenants, access, guardrails, and cost for IT cloud workloads.
• Infrastructure as code for IT configuration using Git, CI pipelines and review processes.
• Automation for identity lifecycle and IT workflows: SCIM and provisioning across systems.
• Monitoring, backup and resilience; runbooks and recovery procedures.
• Scripts and internal tooling; move to source control and maintainability.
• Define repeatable office site templates for configuration, monitoring and documentation.
• Improve change control, documentation, and runbooks across IT pillars.
• Manage certificates, domains, and DNS, coordinating with Network and CorpSec teams.
