Job summary

Harvey seeks an experienced Production Engineer to design, build, and operate its core compute and networking infra, including a Kubernetes platform and workflow orchestration. You will partner with product, security, AI infrastructure, and platform teams to ship reliable services at scale.

You will lead complex initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while ensuring security and operational excellence across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software, infra, SRE, or production engineering.
• Experience building large-scale cloud infra on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production, with lifecycle management.
• Distributed systems with high reliability and performance.
• Infra-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong compute, networking, capacity planning, and ops knowledge.
• Observability: monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response.
• Security basics: IAM, network security, secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Harvey’s production infrastructure.
• Drive technical direction across compute, networking, and Kubernetes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams on requirements.
• Develop reusable tooling and patterns for shipping safe production services.
• Mentor teammates and raise engineering standards.
