Harvey is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Core Infrastructure team in New York City. You will design and build scalable infrastructure powering a global AI platform, with a balance of innovation and operational excellence.

You will own multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, AWS), lead observability and incident-response initiatives, and mentor engineers to raise the technical bar across the organization. This in-person role offers relocation assistance for new hires.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Kubernetes expertise and cloud security at scale.
• Familiarity with observability and incident-response tools.

Responsabilités

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant infra across cloud regions.
• Own multi-cloud infra including Kubernetes orchestration and networking.
• Lead observability, incident response, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Architect reliable distributed systems with load balancing and failover.
• Mentor engineers and drive code reviews and design reviews.
