Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer for OCI Networking in Nashville. You will design and build large-scale distributed systems, focusing on region builds, networking orchestration, and resilient services in a multi-tenant cloud.

The role requires deep technical depth, coding excellence in Java/Go/C#, collaboration across teams, and a passion for scalable, observable systems. On-site work in Nashville with a strong focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of total experience in software development.
Experience writing code in Java, Go, C# or similar OO languages.
Experience with large-scale distributed services infrastructure.
Experience in an operational environment with mission-critical livesite servicing.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and build large-scale distributed systems enabling rapid region builds and network orchestration across OCI.
Drive development of services and frameworks to address complex networking at scale.
Collaborate across teams to design unified, automated, observable systems.
Lead technical direction for high-impact projects and mentor engineers.
