Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure to design and operate scalable, secure, multi-tenant platforms that power agentic AI deployments in enterprise clouds. You will translate product goals into resilient architectures and drive CI/CD, automation, and observability across Kubernetes, networking, and data layers.

You will own deployment strategies in customer-owned environments, coordinate with security, DevOps, product, and customer success teams, and build

Qualifications

4+ years building and operating core infrastructure, platform engineering, or infra/DevOps.
Deep experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes at scale.
Strong grasp of cloud networking fundamentals (VPCs, IAM, DNS, load balancing).
Production systems reliability: monitoring, on-call, incident response, failure mode analysis.

Responsibilities

Design and build development and production platforms over cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and networking.
Own enterprise deployments in customer-owned cloud environments and manage full lifecycle from setup to upgrades.
Create runbooks and automation to make deployments repeatable.
Maintain reliability with monitoring, alerting, and rollback as first-class concerns.
Collaborate with customers' platform, security, DevOps, product, and success teams to meet deployment requirements.
