This role is fully remote through August 2025, with a transition to working 2 days/week in San Francisco starting September 2025.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure growth, implement fault-resistant systems, and develop incident response processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot environments using tools like DataDog, PagerDuty, AWS logs.
3. Plan capacity and scale infrastructure proactively.
4. Design for high availability and zero-downtime.
5. Ensure system security and address vulnerabilities.
6. Automate tasks and develop efficiency tools.
7. Implement disaster recovery strategies across regions.
8. Manage web domains and certificates.
9. Troubleshoot production/test issues.
10. Support organization through on-call duties.
11. Define system requirements and solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in Infrastructure/DevOps.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong AWS knowledge (ElasticSearch, RDS, WAF, CloudFront, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, Helm, Github Actions, ArgoCD.
• Background supporting high-availability, 24/7 environments.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
• AWS Certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ownership attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Software development experience is a plus.
• Startup experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $160,000, plus bonus, benefits, and perks. Final offers depend on experience and location.
