Qualifications

• 8+ years IT, infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud engineering experience.
• 5+ years AWS cloud platforms and services experience.
• 3+ years designing, automating, and operating scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Ability to produce production-grade IaC and perform code reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate engineers in a matrixed environment.
• Strong business and technical acumen to influence decisions and communicate with leadership.
• Strong facilitation, planning, and execution skills for cross-functional workshops and reviews.
• Solid SDLC, DevOps, change management, incident response, and production operations knowledge.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical cloud solutions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Cloud Business Office by facilitating Well Architected reviews for new cloud deployments or migrations.
• Lead design and delivery of repeatable, reliable cloud solutions using Terraform, GitHub, and automation tools.
• Develop and deploy full stack patterns to support application development, data platform, and AI services.
• Partner with application and product teams to assess requirements and support cloud implementations.
• Onboard and lifecycle manage cloud services by producing standard IaC/Terraform Modules.
• Define and mature SRE practices, including SLO/SLI and error-budget governance.
• Design and implement automation using Java, JavaScript, APIs, SQL, and Terraform.
• Deliver application-level fixes and enhancements via disciplined software engineering.
• Focus on uptime, throughput, and performance; improve reliability metrics.
• Shift from non-standard platforms to standard artifacts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review designs, issues, and risks; provide actionable resolution plans.
• Advise teams on cost optimization, governance, and platform standards.
• Maintain documentation of issues and outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and vendor teams to resolve complex problems.
