Job summary

Talent Hackers, LLC is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale platform infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will work with managed PaaS and core AWS services, applying IaC and automated CI/CD to deliver reliable, well‑documented cloud environments.

You’ll establish observability, security controls, and cost visibility, collaborate with engineers and project leads, and own the build, test, and deployment lifecycle from dev to production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering experience in cloud/infrastructure
• Experience with managed PaaS platforms and AWS services
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Pulumi) and CI/CD
• Experience configuring SMTP deliverability and email deliverability monitoring

Responsibilities

• Assess current infra and write prioritized findings
• Define and implement target infra across PaaS and AWS
• Define infrastructure as code for reproducible environments
• Implement IAM roles, secrets management, and network config
• Provision and tune RDS, backups, encryption, and read replicas
• Configure S3 buckets with access policies, lifecycle, versioning, encryption
• Configure Lambda functions with CI/CD integration and fault handling
• Set up transactional email deliverability and domain authentication
• Build pipelines with tests, lint, and deployments on merge
• Establish centralized logging/monitoring and cost tagging
• Ensure HIPAA/PCI/SOC 2 compliance where applicable
• Deliverables: assessments, architecture diagrams, IaC, tested restores, deployable pipelines, handoff package
