Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack in New York City. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week and a mandatory in-office day on Thursdays, reporting to an Engineering Leader.

The base pay ranges from $163,944 to $215,176 annually, with benefits, equity grants, and performance bonuses. You will build reliable applications and interfaces for members and providers, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across multiple technologies.
• Ability to propose and iterate with new technologies or data structures.
• Experience contributing to quality, fault-tolerant and scalable software.
• Strong understanding of practical CS concepts within a team environment.
• Writes stable, correct, and maintainable code with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Become the expert on your team's business and technical domains.
• Lead planning, execution and release of complex technical projects.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to solve challenging problems.
• Work with engineers to improve technology and apply best practices.
• Own small to medium features or infra projects from design to completion.
• Contribute across the codebase with appropriate guidance.
