Job summary

Thndr is seeking a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-growing fintech team. You will architect and maintain scalable, secure cloud and on-prem infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments, leading containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

You'll design CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, and drive observability, security, and compliance across multi-region deployments while mentoring junior engineers and aligning roadmaps with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation) expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Proven experience in designing DevOps strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of security best practices and fintech compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across AWS and on-premises.
• Lead containerization and orchestration strategy with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and manage complex networking solutions including VPCs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terragrunt across multi-region setups.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for all components.
