Job summary

DTCC, a leading financial services infrastructure firm, seeks a Senior AWS and Terraform Engineer to design and automate enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across AWS. You will create reusable Terraform modules, enable self-service provisioning, and partner with security, architecture, and operations to uphold governance.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure environments, CI/CD integration, and automation within a hybrid on-site/remote model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience in cloud/infra engineering or platform engineering.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and IaC patterns for AWS.
• Build standardized AWS infrastructure blueprints for compute, networking, security, storage, and observability.
• Implement secure and scalable AWS environments (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager).
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines, source control, policy-as-code, security scanning, and enterprise change management.
• Enable self-service infrastructure provisioning via modular templates, APIs, and platform automation.
• Develop and maintain Terraform state management, module versioning, release practices, and environment promotion standards.
• Establish cloud security guardrails including least privilege, encryption, segmentation, logging, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with platform, cloud, application, security, and operations teams to align with standards and governance.
• Troubleshoot complex AWS/Terraform deployment issues across dev/test/prod environments.
• Establish best practices for IaC, cloud provisioning, tagging, cost optimization, resiliency, and operational readiness.
