Job summary

Quince in the United States is seeking a Sr. Infra/Devops Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments.
• Hands-on experience building pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments, networking protocols, load balancing, CDN, and DNS administration.
• Familiarity managing and supporting databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis).
• Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Automation: Design, provision, and maintain highly available and resilient infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and secure continuous delivery and integration pipelines to ensure fast, zero-downtime, and reliable software deployments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized application environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability & Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and proactive incident management.
• Reliability & Performance: Lead capacity planning, automated scaling strategies, disaster recovery testing, and blue-green deployment strategies.
• Security & Best Practices: Enforce security best practices, networking standards, access controls, and data protection across public cloud infrastructure.
• Developer Experience: Automate repetitive operational tasks to empower product teams and reduce developer friction throughout the SDLC.
