Job summary

KPA seeks a Senior Information Security Engineer to own security platforms, cloud security, identity, and automation. The role partners with IT Operations and DevOps to raise security posture across Azure, AWS, and on-prem workloads.

You will lead vulnerability management, incident response, and SOC 2/compliance initiatives while advancing secure CI/CD, IaC, and container security practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or related senior role.
• Strong knowledge of identity and endpoint security, vulnerability management, network security, incident response, and zero trust.
• Experience securing Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows and Linux.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, container security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 & NIST CSF or comparable security and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own security platforms and related technologies across the enterprise.
• Lead vulnerability management, endpoint security, identity security, privileged access, and security hardening.
• Lead security incident response, investigations, containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
• Own SOC 2 controls, security audit requirements, and technical compliance initiatives.
• Own cloud security posture management, logging, alerting, detection engineering, and remediation processes.
• Partner with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containers, and cloud workloads.
