Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a senior Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure leader to bridge cloud strategy with hands-on execution for complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will optimize large cloud footprints, design operating models, and lead modernization initiatives with an emphasis on security and regulatory compliance.

The role targets professionals with 8–12+ years in cloud infrastructure leadership, experience migrating 500+ workloads, and strong knowledge of FedRAMP, IL certifications,

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure leadership
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise migration programs (500+ workloads)
• Deep understanding of security requirements in regulated environments (FedRAMP, IL certifications, HIPAA, SOC2)
• Federal cloud experience preferred - can substitute with deep transformation in regulated industries
• Cloud certifications strongly preferred (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor on cloud strategy and hybrid infrastructure engagements
• Lead workload rationalization assessments and classify workloads for rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, or retirement
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud target architectures across regulatory environments
• Develop cloud migration roadmaps with gating to retire on-premises capacity
• Advise on cloud vendor strategy and multi-vendor approaches
• Support practice development through internal training and people development
