Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure leader who bridges cloud strategy with hands-on execution for complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

You will optimize large cloud footprints, design operating models, and guide clients through migration roadmaps, with a focus on AI-enabled delivery and regulated environments.

This role requires 8-12+ years of leadership, strong architecture experience, security know-how, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of professional cloud infrastructure leadership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise migration programs (500+ workloads).
• Deep understanding of security requirements in regulated environments (FedRAMP, IL, HIPAA, SOC2).
• Federal cloud experience preferred - transformation in regulated industries acceptable.
• Cloud certifications strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Full-time, contract, and project-based engagements available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor on cloud strategy and hybrid engagements.
• Lead workload rationalization assessments.
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud target architectures.
• Develop cloud migration roadmaps with decommission gating.
• Advise on cloud vendor strategy and multi-vendor approaches.
• Support practice development through training and people development.
