Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure leader who bridges cloud strategy and hands-on execution for clients operating complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will lead workload rationalization, design hybrid architectures, develop migration roadmaps, advise on vendor strategies, and contribute to practice development through training and content creation.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of professional cloud infrastructure leadership in consulting or advisory delivery.
• Experience leading enterprise migration programs (500+ workloads).
• Deep understanding of security requirements in regulated environments (FedRAMP, IL, HIPAA, SOC2).
• Federal cloud experience preferred; transformation in regulated industries acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor on cloud strategy and hybrid engagements.
• Lead workload rationalization and classify workloads for rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, or retirement.
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud target architectures across environments.
• Develop cloud migration roadmaps with gating for on-premises retirement.
• Advise on cloud vendor strategy, including multi-vendor approaches and contract terms.
• Support practice development through training, content creation, and people development.
