Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a hardware-focused engineer to join the EC2 Networking and Outpost team. You will work on high-performance server hardware for AWS cloud infrastructure, collaborating with experts to scale our data center fleet.

You will tackle complex design challenges, partner with vendors and internal teams, and help deliver secure, rock-solid systems that power large-scale compute and storage services for our customers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EE, CE, or CS.
• 5+ years in complex server, storage, or network server designs.
• 5+ years creating specifications, design verification plans and test procedures.
• 5+ years debugging and root-cause analysis of PCIe, memory, storage subsystems or networking.
• 3+ years advanced support experience managing customer escalations at scale.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to move design from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Solve systemic issues and scale infrastructure at Edge and Data Center.
• Collaborate with compute, memory, storage experts to deliver best customer experience.
• Interface with customers to understand project requirements and facilitate system development.
• Work with vendors and ODM/JDM teams to develop and manufacture product at scale.
