Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Los Angeles area is seeking a senior hardware-focused engineer to join the AWS EC2 Networking and Outpost team. You will help build high-performance server hardware used to run the world's largest cloud infrastructures and manage systems at scale.

The role involves collaborating with Hardware Design, System Design, Software Development, and Technical Program Management to deliver rock-solid servers, with a fast-paced, open environment and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EE, CE, or CS with 5+ years in complex server/storage or network server designs.
• 5+ years developing functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures.
• 3+ years of advanced support experience managing customer escalations in a large-scale production environment.

Responsibilities

• Solve systemic issues and build scalable infrastructure at the Edge and Data Center.
• Collaborate with compute, memory, storage, and networking experts to deliver the best customer experience in cloud computing.
• Interface with internal and external customers to understand project requirements and drive system development.
