Job summary

Axon is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Seattle, WA, hybrid work with on-site Tue–Fri and remote Mon. You will lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and finance to drive complex software initiatives from inception to deployment.

The role emphasizes cloud cost optimization and scalable processes, partnering with engineering and finance VPs to ensure value-driven, technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software/electrical engineering, data science, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience leading and delivering large-scale software projects, with at least 2 years in a technical program management role.
• Strong project management skills: Agile SDLC, risk tracking, dependencies, milestones, and status communication.
• Proven history owning and driving large, ambiguous technical software programs.
• Able to learn quickly and collaborate to reduce ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution across product management, engineering, and design to create data-driven project plans.
• Drive process improvements to increase velocity and delivery quality.
• Own dependencies and simplify challenges to achieve the right outcomes.
• Track risks, issues, and roadmaps with clear communication.
• Align priorities with senior leaders and provide timely, concise updates.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams, earning trust and solving problems.
• Document architecture and process details as needed.
• Apply knowledge of AWS and Azure networking and cloud cost management.
