Axon is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for the Real-Time Operations team in Seattle. You will own highly complex programs spanning multiple teams, translating ambiguous problems into executable plans and driving end-to-end delivery with a focus on scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

You will partner with engineering and product management to drive programs from inception to post-production, defining requirements, milestones and success metrics, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex software/hardware delivery.
• 2–3 years as a technical individual contributor or equivalent hands-on technical role.
• Proven record of leading large cross-team programs with executive visibility.
• Strong judgment to evaluate end-to-end designs and risks.

Responsibilities

• Own highly complex technical programs across teams from strategy through launch and post-production.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements, plans and milestones.
• Own program plans, schedules, resourcing and change management.
• Manage risks and track cross-team dependencies.
• Define success metrics and report to leadership.
• Lead end-to-end technical requirements and system design discussions.
• Advise on data stores, caching, tech stacks and where business logic lives.
• Mentor TPMs and interview senior candidates.
• Collaborate across time zones and with multiple stakeholders.
