Job summary

Hudl is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to own cloud FinOps from forecasting to optimization. You’ll forecast spend, allocate costs, and partner with accounting to keep numbers aligned while building guardrails to prevent cost overruns.

You’ll implement automation with Python, GitHub Actions, and AWS Lambda, monitor AWS pricing models, and drive cost efficiency across engineering, product, and finance. A strong communicator who thrives in ambiguity will excel here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with Cloud FinOps context preferred.
• Automation and scripting with Python and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of AWS pricing, cost models, and committed-use strategies.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and driving projects using Scrum or Kanban in Jira.
• Strong communicator who can move work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and allocate cloud and software spend; monitor AWS for anomalies and implement guardrails.
• Maintain the chargeback model and align with Accounting/FP&A to answer cost questions.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Python, GitHub Actions, and Lambda to reduce manual work.
• Identify cost and efficiency opportunities and drive them cross‑functionally to completion.
