Job summary

Illumio seeks a Senior Manager of Cloud Engineering to lead a team building scalable, distributed cloud services in a multi-cloud environment. You will drive design, development, and delivery with a focus on automation, observability, and reliability.

You will oversee cloud service development, ensure performance and security, set guidelines, review code, and collaborate with Product Management to align with business goals. Strong leadership and agile execution are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in managing cloud engineers.
• Expertise in CI/CD, automation tools, and cloud infra.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
• Proven ability to drive high-quality, scalable cloud solutions.
• Leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve a cloud engineering team building distributed microservices.
• Drive design, development, and delivery of cloud solutions across multi-cloud.
• Ensure automation, observability, and operational excellence.
• Set coding guidelines and participate in reviews.
• Align development with product management and business goals.
• Manage full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
