Illumia LLC is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead a high-performing team delivering scalable, cloud-native software. You will own production systems, drive reliability, and implement modern engineering practices across AWS deployments.

The role focuses on leadership, architectural decision-making, and partner collaboration to support mission-critical applications in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering.
• 8+ years of software development and platform engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams or cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of scalable services built with .NET (C#) and deployed in AWS.
• Drive modern engineering practices across cloud-native architectures and APIs.
• Ensure high code quality, performance, and operational reliability.
• Own production health, uptime, and system reliability for supported applications.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and observability across systems.
• Guide system design and technical decisions aligned with standards.
• Strengthen engineering ownership of production outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments and integrations.
• Promote adoption of AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity and quality.
