Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable AWS-based cloud infrastructure. This role leads technical initiatives and mentors engineers across DevOps, security, and business teams.

You’ll work on IaC with Terraform, CI/CD improvements, and on-call activities, with on-site requirements in Irving, Denver, or Seattle as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of cloud engineering experience in large-scale AWS environments.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms at scale.
• Strong expertise with Terraform in a version-controlled, team-based environment.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS).

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions using IaC.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex infra, networking, security, and deployments.
• Guide cloud standards, governance, and compliance aligned with requirements.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams on secure-by-default architectures.
• Support and drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and design discussions.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and tool evaluations.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation including incident response.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and automation.
