Job summary

CACI is seeking a driven AWS Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and scale cloud environments supporting mission-critical systems. You will partner with security, DevOps, and application teams to deliver secure, resilient cloud-native services.

In this role, you will implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, develop CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance and cost, and drive cloud modernization across diverse programs while adhering to governance standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on AWS services experience: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Route 53, ALB/NLB.
• Proficient with Terraform for provisioning and IaC.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
• Strong cloud security, IAM governance, and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Build IaC with Terraform; modular design and automation patterns.
• Create reusable Terraform modules to improve velocity.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure releases.
• Monitor performance, availability, cost, and health.
• Lead migration, modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Collaborate with app, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams on cloud services.
• Automate manual processes to improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues with root-cause analysis.
• Define and uphold cloud governance, IaC best practices, and operations.
