ClickHouse in San Francisco is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build a petabyte-scale, high-performance observability platform. You’ll own backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for developers.

Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, design scalable systems for ingesting and querying massive observability data.

You’ll work with TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Docker, and Kubernetes, shipping features that matter to users while embracing new technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills (Express/Fastify).
• Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Experience with Go is a plus—occasional Go contributions.
