Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud, with emphasis on resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

The role is hands-on across design, development, deployment, and operations, providing guidance to other engineers. Hybrid remote with onsite as needed; preferred near Hanscom AFB or Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Linux/Unix networking and cloud security knowledge.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python/Bash/Go).
• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud operations to enhance scalable, secure AWS solutions.
• Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with objectives.
• Automate with IaC, DevOps practices, and security controls.
• Architect secure cloud networks and implement access controls.
• Support migration, modernization, and containerization efforts.
