Job summary

Leidos is seeking an IT Operations Manager to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services under a DoD contract.

This role focuses on modernizing a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP) to ensure high performance, reliability, and alignment with mission objectives while mentoring ITSM staff within agile standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s with 6+ years).
• 5 years’ experience leading teams or projects.
• Experience supporting mission-critical IT operations in high-availability environments.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, log and trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting Cloud environments and enterprise systems administration.
• Experience coordinating with customers and stakeholders to resolve incidents and support operational requirements.
• Experience with IT service operations processes and ticket management.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Active DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident and problem resolution, monitor SLAs and KPIs, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead multi-cloud engineering and support teams to meet DoD cloud operations for 60+ mission apps.
• Coordinate operational planning and staffing, including subcontractors.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing operations, enhancing service delivery, and aligning roadmaps.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and assist business growth and new task orders.
• Collaborate with IT support, application development, and business to align cloud services with objectives.
• Share Agile best practices to reduce costs and schedule while improving performance.
• Drive change through cross-matrixed organizations.
• Evaluate and communicate strategy, operational health, and incident action plans to executives.
• Oversee security and audits, respond to vulnerability scans, and provide audit artifacts.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Translate technology lifecycles into business strategies for client organizations.
