Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and ACSS contract. This hands-on role spans designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining scalable, secure cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

The position emphasizes DevSecOps, automation, and zero-trust security, with hybrid remote work and onsite as needed. Strong experience with IaC, CI/CD, and diverse cloud platforms is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years experience or Master with 6+ years preferred.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• US citizenship required.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2) certification.
• Expert-level in designing and supporting cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Strong IaC, automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Linux/Unix, networking, and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud operations and engineering tasks to enhance, sustain, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions for AWS cloud environment.
• Perform AWS cloud operations, sustainment, and maintenance activities to maintain optimum cloud performance, security, and user experience.
• Develop cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with objectives and requirements.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies to maximize automation and assess impact on goals.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, IaC, and automation frameworks.
