Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operations Manager-like candidate to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. You will lead and mentor ITSM staff, oversee incident management, and manage a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP) supporting DoD mission applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 6 years’ relevant experience.
• 5 years’ experience leading teams or projects.
• Experience supporting mission-critical IT operations in high-availability environments.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, log analysis, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting Cloud environments and enterprise systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service management processes, including incident and problem resolution, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, and implementing proactive corrective actions.
• Lead a multi-discipline team of cloud engineers, network engineers, SRE engineers, and service desk personnel to support 60+ mission applications across DoD.
• Coordinate operational planning and execution, including staffing and subcontractors.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing practices, delivering services, and aligning roadmaps.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and support business growth and new task orders.
