Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to architect, develop, deploy, administer, and maintain cloud environments to support DoD product software development for the F/A-18 & EA-18G Mission Systems in Berkeley, MO. The role requires strong cloud architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code skills.

Responsibilities include roadmaps for cloud transitions, collaboration with IT and cybersecurity teams, and enabling software factories and toolchains across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Linux experience.
• Experience designing cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud environments to support DoD product software development.
• Manage time-phased Roadmap Development for F18 Mission System’s transition to the cloud.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams for cost-effective, secure deployments.
• Interface with development groups across F/A-18 & EA-18G programs for software factories and toolchains.
• Coordinate with Air Dominance programs to share knowledge across platforms.
• Conduct evaluations, trade studies, and discussions on cloud environments.
• Ensure consistent DevSecOps deployments in cloud environments.
