Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Advanced Information Technologist – Associate Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration, edge compute integration, and IaC automation in a 100% onsite role in Saint Louis, MO/Saint Louis area.

You will collaborate with DevSecOps, SRE, and product security teams to deploy software in the cloud, optimize resources, and manage licenses and ISV partnerships. Requires DoD-grade clearance eligibility and DoD 8140/Certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms.
• 1+ years of experience with DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Deployment & Integration: Orchestrate the installation and configuration of complex COTS packages on a cloud platform, including edge compute integration.
• Application Migration: Work with subcontracted cloud teams and IT to migrate applications from on-prem to the cloud.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision compute, storage, and networking as required.
• Vendor & License Management: Collaborate with ISVs to validate architecture, manage licenses, and ensure security compliance.
• Environment Standardization: Maintain consistency across dev, test, and production environments to prevent configuration drift.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize cloud resources to meet vendor performance benchmarks.
