Job summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and automation of Azure-based cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, Python/Bash automation, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams, and enforce cloud security best practices while driving cost optimization and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Designing and implementing Terraform modules, managing state, and building IaC pipelines at scale.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Architect and develop reusable IaC modules using Terraform.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Bash for provisioning and configuration management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including Groovy scripts and shared libraries.
• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments for production deployments.
• Mentor junior cloud engineers and guide cross-functional teams.
