Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead Azure-based cloud infrastructure, emphasizing automation, scalability, and cost optimization. You will design Terraform modules, automate provisioning with Python and Bash, and manage container environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate across DevOps and security teams, and ensure best practices in cloud governance and security are applied throughout the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Proven Terraform module design, IaC pipelines, and state management.
• Strong automation using Python and Bash; Linux orchestration experience.
• Production experience with Jenkins pipelines, Groovy scripts, and GitHub Actions.
• Deep knowledge of Azure IAM, RBAC, and cloud security principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with automation.
• Architect reusable IaC modules and Terraform frameworks for scale.
• Develop advanced automation for provisioning and configuration management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions; Groovy scripting.
• Build and operate Docker and Kubernetes environments for production workloads.
• Lead incident responses, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with software/DevOps teams to translate requirements into secure cloud architectures.
• Establish cloud security governance and documentation standards.
