Job summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and automation of Azure cloud infrastructure. You will develop reusable Terraform modules, automate provisioning with Python and Bash, and manage container environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will mentor juniors and collaborate with DevOps to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes cost optimization, incident response, and establishing architectural standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expertise in Azure.
• Experience designing Terraform modules and building IaC pipelines at scale.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash for automation and orchestration.
• Production experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with focus on automation, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Architect and develop reusable IaC modules and Terraform-based frameworks.
• Design and implement automation solutions using Python and Bash for provisioning and configuration management.
• Develop shell scripts for Linux orchestration and automation workflows.
• Administer and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions with Groovy pipelines.
• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes-based container environments for production deployments.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with software/DevOps teams to translate requirements into secure cloud architectures.
