Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment seeks a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, automation, and operational excellence of our AWS cloud platforms. You will own IaC with Terraform, CI/CD via GitLab/Jenkins, and secure, scalable infrastructure for critical business apps and data platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of AWS experience, strong scripting, and a focus on high availability. You’ll join a cross-functional team and may work occasional on-call shifts to support 24/7

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional required.
• Strong experience designing and supporting AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with production cloud environments, incident management, and on-call rotations.
• Strong scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash; Linux/Windows cloud environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving; knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
• Security-minded with high availability and automated deployment expertise.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CodePipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tooling.
• Enforce least-privilege security models (IAM) and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and developer productivity.
• Support incident management and on-call rotations; troubleshoot database and infra issues.
• Document environments and procedures; contribute to automation and tooling for data teams.
