Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer – Cyber Security Operations to provide advanced security operations support for our global IT environment. You will design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, lead large-scale IaC projects, and partner with CSIRT and enterprise teams to detect, prioritize, and remediate security defects across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Linux/Unix server administration.
• 10+ years of Windows server administration.
• 10+ years of storage administration.
• 5-7 years IT security standards & technologies.
• 6-8 years IT infrastructure/network security.
• 7 years Windows and Linux patch management.
• Experience with VMware ESX virtualization.
• Experience with AWS load balancers (ALB/ELB).
• Ability to analyze logs from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure, applications and services.
• Leads large-scale projects leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC); mentors others; pushes automation and optimization of infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain servers and applications for the global information security team in data center and cloud environments.
• Work with enterprise, business peers, and information security teams to detect, prioritize, and remediate security defects.
• Documentation and diagramming of server and storage infrastructure.
• Define strategic direction for architectural designs and technical solutions.
• Work with the CSIRT for detection and remediation of security events and incidents.
• 24x7 on-call duties.
• Collaborate with other teams on initiatives as appropriate.
