TEKsystems Global Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to deliver hands‑on engineering across Allegis Group’s global Azure environments, focusing on deployment, governance, security, and cost optimization. You will partner with enterprise teams to design IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, implement DR strategies, monitor systems, and provide ongoing support.

This role supports a corporate enterprise operations function and involves working in data centre contexts with Azure certifications

Qualificações

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Five years of experience in software development, program analytics or related occupation.

Responsabilidades

• Create and implement cloud‑based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS based on business needs and customer requirements.
• Extract customer requirements and work with end users/customers.
• Partner with departments such as application development, enterprise operations, security and risk management to meet customer needs.
• Create and implement disaster recovery solutions and assist with continuous improvement activities.
• Create system monitoring, backup solutions and assist customers with technical issues.
• Design and implement enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications monitoring to notify support teams of anomalies.
• Configure and maintain user friendly interfaces to log errors and deliver performance dashboards/reports.
• Telecommuting permitted.

Overview

The Senior Cloud Engineer position is a technical role in the organization that is responsible for delivering engineering services. The Sr. Cloud Engineer provide consulting and delivery services for Allegis Group and its Operating Companies focusing on the Microsoft Azure cloud which includes but not limited to deployment, configuration governance, security compliance, cost optimization and engineering support. As a Sr Cloud Engineer, the expectation is to have the experience and background to provide direct hands‑on engineering support for Allegis Groups global infrastructure environments in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role is also responsible for creating and implementing cloud‑based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS, PaaS based on business needs and customer requirements. This specific role is within Corporate Enterprise Operations in support of Allegis Group and its operating companies. The ideal candidate should have experience in medium to large data centre environments, Microsoft Azure, and be proficient at extracting customer requirements and working with end users/ customers.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Be responsible for creating and implementing cloud‑based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS based on business needs and customer requirements.
• Extract customer requirements and work with end users / customers.
• Partner with various departments in the organization such as application development, enterprise operations, security, and risk management to provide solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
• Create and implement disaster recovery solutions and assist with continuous improvement activities.
• Be responsible for creating system monitoring and backup solutions and assisting customer with technical issues.
• Assess, design, and implement Enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications monitoring solutions which notify respective support teams if any anomalies are found with their applications/environments.
• Configure and maintain user friendly interfaces for them to log errors in human readable formats which helps them troubleshoot issues related to their environment and deliver/configure performance dashboards/reports.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• US Citizen
• Education – Bachelor's Degree
• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology or related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in the field of software development, program analytics or related occupation.
• Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

• US Salary range:$100,600-$151,000 Potential bonus up to: $15,000
