Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Contract Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer in Orlando, FL to design and implement scalable, high-performance infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peers while staying current with cloud and software engineering practices.

Required strong Python, IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK), CI/CD with GitLab or GitHub, and hands-on AWS services like Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, and S3. Hybrid onsite work in Orlando.

Qualifications

5+ years of software development across diverse technical domains.
Proven experience solving complex problems in distributed systems and data management.
Expert-level coding skills with strong attention to time and space complexity.
Advanced proficiency in Python for backend or infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
