Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned IT Architect/Cloud professional to manage Kubernetes operations, deployment automation, and Appian platform support within AWS/EKS environments. You will implement IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, enforce security controls, and enhance observability across the stack.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong Kubernetes and DevOps skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of overall work experience.
• 3+ years in Cloud Kubernetes Operations, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proficient with AWS EKS and Helm charts.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and secure cloud boundaries.
• Experience with .NET environments and exposure to Appian or BPM engines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; US Citizenship or GC.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Operations: Maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor Kubernetes pods, services, and ingress controllers hosting Appian stateful workloads and .NET applications.
• Deployment Automation: Package .NET apps (Windows/Linux containers) and deploy via Helm charts and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Platform Support (Appian): Monitor Appian platform health using Appian Operator on Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Maintain Terraform or CloudFormation modules for AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, VPCs).
• Security & Compliance Operationalization: Apply RBAC, patching, and security controls per FedRAMP/NIST 800-53.
• Observability: Configure alerts/dashboards/logs with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
