Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps to advance the GrantSolutions modernization on AWS. You will design and operate cloud platform capabilities, implement secure CI/CD, and automate infrastructure using IaC across multiple teams and vendors.

The role emphasizes security integration, continuous delivery, observability, and collaboration with Federal stakeholders to meet governance and modernization objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in platform engineering / DevSecOps.
• Hands-on AWS with ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Security controls integrated into pipelines (SAST, SCA, scanners).
• Experience with IAM, VPC, logging, monitoring, encryption.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability: logging, metrics, dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities.
• Implement DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain IaC for repeatable environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, security, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Embed security early in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Support observability and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot platform, pipelines, and release issues.
