Job summary

VetRamp is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to sustain scalable production infrastructure for APIs, web apps, and ETL workflows in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with development teams to deliver production-ready services, automate release processes, and enforce security standards across the platform.

The role emphasizes cloud-native practices, continuous delivery, and proactive incident prevention within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in a DevOps role focused on maintaining production infrastructure.
Experience supporting highly available SaaS or cloud environments.
Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, Code/Build/Pipeline/Deploy.
Strong familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and AWS tooling.
Scripting in Python or Bash; Linux environment expertise.
Solid understanding of system, networking concepts, and troubleshooting for bare metal and containerized workloads.
Bonus: .NET apps on Windows servers and Active Directory experience.

Responsibilities

Design, improve, and maintain secure, durable, and performant infrastructure for APIs, web apps, and data pipelines.
Collaborate with developers to bring products into production.
Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring across the SDLC.
Improve operational processes for scalability, security, and availability.
Ensure compliance with information security standards such as SOC 2/ISO27001.
