Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership and architectural direction for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering across multiple agile teams.

You will partner with architects, security, and infrastructure teams to design scalable, automated delivery platforms and ship software faster and more reliably. This hands‑on leader will drive standards, mentor engineers, and champion DevSecOps culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Platform Engineering or similar roles.
• Experience designing and supporting DevOps architecture in enterprise environments.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and modern deployment patterns.
• Hands‑on with Linux and Windows environments.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight for DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering across scrum teams.
• Define standards for build, deployment, infrastructure, and environment management.
• Lead automated CI/CD pipeline design including build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
• Embed DevSecOps controls into pipelines and environments.
• Drive cloud-native adoption and containerization using Kubernetes.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, and reliability metrics.
• Mentor engineers in DevOps practices, tooling, and architectural decisions.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across platforms.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize delivery.
